What are 5 creative things I could do with my kids' art? Tips from Toddle Poddle™ Art Club

What are 5 creative things I could do with my kids' art? I don't want to throw them away, but it's also so much clutter.

It's wonderful that you want to find creative ways to preserve and repurpose your kids' art, but let's face it, there is a lot of it.

So how can we save without cluttering your space? Here are five creative ideas to help you make the most of their artwork:

  1. Create a Digital Gallery: Take photos or scan the artwork and create a digital gallery. You can organize the images into albums or create a slideshow that showcases their artistic progression over time. Store the digital files on your computer or cloud storage to reduce physical clutter.

  2. Custom Collage: Select some of the most vibrant and expressive pieces of art and create a collage. Frame it and hang it up as a unique and colorful wall decoration. This way, you can enjoy their artwork without taking up too much space.

  3. Turn Art into Functional Items: Transform your kids' artwork into practical items like custom placemats, coasters, or tote bags. Many online services allow you to upload images and create personalized products. Not only does this give new life to the artwork, but it also makes for meaningful and useful keepsakes.

  4. Art Book or Calendar: Compile your kids' artwork into a beautiful art book or create a custom calendar. This way, you can appreciate their creations throughout the year without filling up your shelves.

  5. Share with Loved Ones: Select some pieces of art that hold sentimental value and turn them into heartfelt gifts for grandparents, relatives, or close friends. You could frame them or use them as covers for greeting cards. This not only spreads joy but also allows you to declutter your space.

Remember that it's essential to involve your kids in the process and discuss the options with them. They may have some preferences or ideas on how to repurpose their artwork, and it can be a fun and collaborative project for the whole family.
